Wow…..winter quarter flew by!!!! I still am not adjusted to the speed of the quarter system when compared with the semester system. It certainly has its plusses and minuses. So much to fill everyone in on concerning our activities over the last couple of months as we’ve had much happening. Well, winter blew by and the next thing we knew it was Picnic Day on campus which is a huge celebration at UC Davis.
For Picnic Day, we decided to highlight one of these happenings, vertical hydroponic farming using aquaculture wastes in our greenhouse.
Here Nathan and Rebeca are discussing which of them was supposed to remember the salad dressing! Nathan grows such amazing produce that people kept asking me if it was edible. I think they thought it was all plastic vegetables on display.
