After a long hiatus, I am happy to report on a couple of our activities over the last few months. I will just list some of our updates:
The laboratory has been finished and is ready to populate with equipment and furniture.
Our fish room has a new floor and updated electrical and also ready to go.
We are hiring an Aquaponic Program Manager and have taken possession of a 3000 sq ft greenhouse on campus to establish an Aquaponic Research Facility.
We have two new PhD. candidates joining us this fall. One from the Animal Biology Graduate Group and the other from the Graduate Group Ecology.
Our lab currently consists of 4 undergraduates researchers, 1 Masters candidate in International Agriculture and Development and a PhD candidate in Biological Systems Engineering.
