Five Types of Aquaculture and UC Davis Cosmos 11 Future Foods

Last week I was humbled once again by another 24 engaging pre-college students that actually want to spend 4 straight weeks with me and my team discussing Sustainable Aquaculture and Aquaponics. Our first week has been excellent. Some great discussions, a coconut coir messy bedroom, a broken wicking bed, and tons of smiling faces. Last week we presented the five types of aquaculture video, to lay the foundation of how aquaculture intersects our lives. I keep telling everyone aquaculture is not just feeding fish on a fish farm or ocean net pens. Yes, aquaculture feeds people, but it is so much more!
